A Sympathy Card is one of the kindest ways to say “I’m so sorry for your loss” and by far the best choice when you are not sure what to say, or find yourself at a loss for words.
Most cards will already have appropriate verbiage written on them, but you can also get cards that are blank that will provide space for you to express your sympathy in your own words. In this case, why not write a personal note detailing a special memory of the deceased or a special aspect of your relationship with the deceased? The recipient of your card will certainly be able to feel and sense your concern, and remember, the WORDS HEAL. If you did not have a personal relationship with the deceased — just want to show your sympathy and support for a family in grief — there’s no need to worry or stretch to make up a memory. Just know that your note of sympathy will be appreciated.
