It is with deepest heartfelt sympathy we inform you of the passing from this life of Mr. Willie Frank Battle, 50, a resident of 456 Randolph Street, Wadley, Alabama. Mr. Battle transitioned from this life on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his residence in Wadley, Randolph County, Alabama.
Willie Frank Battle was born December 21, 1969, to the parentage of the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie R. Battle and Christine (Heard) Battle in Ashland, Clay County, Alabama. At an early age, he joined County Line Baptist Church, Wadley, where he remained a member until his home going. Willie Frank grew up in Tallapoosa County, where he graduated from Newsite High School. As a young man he got involved in construction work, and continued to engage in construction for more than 30 years. He was employed for Trentex, Bowden for a number of years, until declining health compelled him to end his career in construction.
He slipped away into eternity on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home in Wadley, Alabama to join hands with his parents, Willie and Christine Battle; and his predeceased siblings: Tony Eugene Battle, Elizabeth Ann Battle Spratling, Gloria Ann Battle (all deceased).
His passing leaves to cherish many loving memories three (3) step children: Anthony Smith of Carrollton, GA, Kelley Houston and Melissa Smith both of Anniston, AL; two (2) brothers: Amos Battle (Christie) of Daviston, Alabama and Anthony Bentley of Tallassee, AL; one (1) sister: Mrs. Earnestine Battle Capers (Houston) of Roanoke, Alabama; special Aunts & Uncles: Gladys Battle, Hershel Battle, Willie James Battle, and Jean Zachery all of Wadley, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
