With deepest regret, we announce the passing of our beloved cousin, Willie Lee Baker, Jr., age 58, a resident of 92 County Road 611, Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama 36274.

Mr. Baker transitioned from this life on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Roanoke Health Care Center in Roanoke, Alabama.

Public viewing and visiting hours for Mr. Baker will be observed on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, between the hours of 12:00 noon and 6:00 PM.

Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be observed on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 1:00 O'Clock PM from Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church, 1216 County Road 310, Roanoke, Alabama. The Reverend Elijah Jackson, Jr., Pastor, Officiating. Other ministers sharing the roster will include The Reverend William A. Dean, and the Reverend Raburn Chapman.

Burial will follow in the adjoining Cemetery at Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church, 1216 County Road 310, Roanoke, Alabama.

THE OBITUARY

Mr. Willie Lee Baker, Jr. was born was born on July 31, 1956, to the parentage of the late Willie Lee Baker and Clara Sue (Trammell) Baker.

At an early age, Willie joined Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke, Alabama, where he remained a member throughout his life. Willie received his early schooling at the Randolph County Training School. He later attended the Randolph County Learning Center.

Willie Lee, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Willie Le Baker, Sr. He departed this life on Thursday, October 20, 2014, at The Roanoke Health Care Center in Roanoke, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish many loving memories: his devoted mother, Mrs. Clara Sue Baker of Roanoke, Alabama; one (1) brother, Gary Baker of Roanoke, Alabama; four (4) sisters: Patricia Lee (Thomas), Teresa Dikken (Mario), and Lisa Patman (Ali) of Roanoke, Alabama and Keisha Baker of Atlanta, Georgia; A host of uncles, aunts, cousins who loved him dearly, special friends from the Randolph County Learning Center, caregivers from Roanoke Health Care Center, and many other relatives and friends.
