It is with a deep sense of loss that the Trammell families of Roanoke, announce the passing from this life of their father, grandfather, and brother, Mr. Walter Clifford Trammell, 77, a resident of Roanoke. Mr. Trammell transitioned from this life on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at his residence in Roanoke.
Walter Clifford Trammell was born in Chambers County, Alabama on July 4, 1945, to the parentage of the late Ralph Trammell and Carrie Lee (Brooks) Trammell.
He grew up attending Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Five Points.
He migrated from this area to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he resided for 37 years; he devoted his life to work in the construction industry and also in manufacturing. Upon retirement, he returned to Roanoke, around 2 1/2 years ago.
As a young adult, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. As he got older, Walter enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by four (4) brothers: J.W. Trammell, U.B. Trammell, Jessie James Trammell, George Trammell, and two (2) sisters: Carrie Ethel Trammell, and Jessie Mae Trammell.
Walter Transitioned from this life on Saturday, August 13 at his residence in Roanoke.
