The Obituary

“A Beautiful Life...”
“A beautiful life that came to an end, he died as he lived, everyone’s friend.
In our hearts a memory will always be kept, of one we loved, and will never forget.”

Tracy T. Traylor was born in Randolph County, Alabama to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lee and Lucille Johnson Traylor on February 6, 1962.

An outgoing and affable young man, Tracy grew up in the historic East Roanoke community, where he joined First Baptist Church at an early age, and attended Handley High School. His high school years were filled with activities, such as football, which he enjoyed playing. Tracy also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, and working with kids.

He worked at the Randolph County Hospital, and later started working in the construction industry. Despite being challenged with health problems in his later years, he was always very faithful and devoted to his sister, Barbara. Tracy was preceded in death by both his parents, and two brothers: Randy Traylor and Ronnie Traylor. Having reached his 50th year of life, Tracy quickly went to be with the Lord and reunite
with departed loved ones on Sunday morning, July 29, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital in Wedowee, Alabama.

He leaves to celebrate his wonderful life, mourn his passing, and cherish many fond and loving memories: his only sister, Ms. Barbara A. Brooks of Roanoke, Alabama; one (1) brother, Mr. Anthony Traylor of Roanoke, Alabama; two (2) nephews, Officer Stacy Brooks (Michelle) of Roanoke, Alabama and Mr. Stanford Brooks (Pam) of Douglasville, Georgia; one (1) niece, Ashley Brooks of Douglasville, Georgia; two (2) great-nephews, Stanford Brooks, Jr., of Douglasville, Georgia and Dylan Brooks of Roanoke, Alabama; and finally a great host of very special cousins and friends.
