With deepest regret, we announce the passing of Brother Tommy Heflin, age 77, a resident of 105 Dallas Circle, Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama 36274.
Mr. Heflin transitioned from this life on Sunday morning, September 7, 2014 at his residence in Roanoke.
Public Viewing and Visiting hours for Mr. Heflin will be observed on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 6:00 PM.
Funeral services for Mr. Heflin will be observed on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 12:00 O'Clock NOON from Bethel United Methodist Church, 335 Avenue "A", Roanoke, Alabama. The Reverend Jacquelyn J. Cumberlander is Pastor, the Reverend Jeffery Rosser will serve as Eulogist. Other ministers sharing the roster will include The Reverend Tommie L. Finley.

THE OBITUARY
Mr. Tommy Heflin was born was born on January 20, 1937, to the parentage of the late William Frank Heflin and Pearl Smith.
Tommy spent most of his adult life in South Carolina. He established an admirable record of work as a truck driver for more than 30 years, retiring to Roanoke, Alabama, where he was joined in marriage with Ms. Marie Robinson.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was was preceded in death by one brother, William Frank Heflin, Jr., and one sister, Louise Longshore. He departed this life on Sunday morning, September 7, 2014, at his home on Dallas Circle in Roanoke, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish many loving memories: his wife, Marie Heflin of Roanoke, Alabama; three (3) sons: Robert Heflin (Barbara) of Auburn, Alabama, Benjamin Heflin of Atlanta, Georgia, Jason Heflin of Greenville, South Carolina; and two (2) daughters: Joyce Fletcher (Rosby) of Seaside, California, Judy Hefiln of Salinas, California; three (3) step-sons: Fred Johnson (Cynthia) of Atlanta, Georgia, Charles Jones of Lanett, Alabama, and Danny Robinson (Star) of San Jose, California; and two (2) step-daughters: Jerry Dean (Rev. W.A. Dean) and Vicki Robinson both of Roanoke, Alabama; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Heflin, of Greenville, South Carolina; one (1) sister, Mary Heflin of Roanoke, Alabama; seventeen (17) grandchildren; twelve (12) great grandchildren; six (6) nephews: Reverend Jeffery Rosser (Janice); Tyrone Smith (Shelia); Larry Brown (Patricia), Daryl Brown (Judy), Michael Brown (Kimberly), and lastly Alvin Brown (Mary) all of Roanoke, Alabama; and a host of other loving relatives, neighbors and friends.
