With deepest regret, the Tucker, Roundtree, and Billingslea families announce the passing from this life of their beloved son, grandson, and brother Terrance Antwon Tucker, Jr., 17, a resident of Harris Avenue, and member of the Handley High School senior class, in Roanoke. Mr. Tucker transitioned from this life on April 17, 2023 in Five Points, Chambers County, AL
Terrance Antwon Tucker Jr., affectionately known by his parents and family members as “T” and “Junior Head”, was a native and lifelong resident of Roanoke. At the height of his youth — a graduating senior — Terrance gained his angel wings, on Monday, April 17, 2023, in Chambers County Alabama.
Terrance was born June 20, 2005, at Tanner Medical Center, Carrollton, GA to his parents, Terrance Antwon Tucker Sr. and Krystle Roundtree Tucker. An amazing young man — “T” was an all-around good kid and a star in the eyes of everyone who knew and met him. During his formative years, he attended Knight Enloe Elementary School and Handley Middle School where he bonded with his peers who would eventually become his closest friends. Terrance was currently a student at Handley High School, Roanoke, he was looking forward to graduation with the class of 2023 in May with an advanced diploma.
During his years in high school, Terrance was an athlete on the school’s basketball team where he emerged as one of the star athletes on the varsity basketball team. Terrance was recognized as a “Class 4A All Area Player” and numerous other awards and medals. Terrance had a deep passion for basketball and also played with the AAU Roanoke Mustangs basketball team.
Terrance learned the importance of serving the Lord at an early age as a member of the Rock Mills Missionary Baptist Church where he devoted himself as an usher and a singer of the Youth Choir.
His kind heart and love for his family characterized his spirit and made him who he was. He would babysit his cousins whenever asked and he was the “go-to” whenever it was time to run errands for the family. Terrance was infatuated with music; family and friends all shared stories of his blasting music in the car and even reminisced about his rapping. Terrance was always fashion-forward; his favorite sneakers were Air Force One and Jordans.
Terrance was preceded in death by two uncles: Ricky Stephens and Antonio Morgan, who at the moment of his transition, were probably right there with open arms to receive him into eternity.
Terrance leaves behind a myriad of memories to be shared by his loving parents: father, Terrance Antwon Tucker Sr., and mother, Krystle Roundtree Tucker, both of Roanoke, AL; three wonderful sisters: Takeira Tucker, Kristiana Tucker, and Kinsli Tucker; and one devoted brother, Kristian Tucker; paternal grandparents: Sara Billingslea (Ritchie); Eric Tucker; maternal grandparents: Classie Roundtree (Harry Stephens), Angelo Stephens; a special friend, Zehkylah Joiner; three devoted aunts: Rakedra Billingslea, Kiandra Billingslea, and Clarissa Roundtree; three caring uncles: Dyrick Tucker, Sedric Tucker, and Tim Sutton; great grandparents, Clentis and Inell Patillo Roundtree and Luneda Billingslea; forever memorials to be shared by other family, relatives and the Handley High School graduating class of 2023.
