With the deepest regret, we announce the passing from this life of Mr. Stacy Winslow Moore, 51 a native of Roanoke, Alabama and current resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mr. Moore transitioned from this life on Sunday, December 22, in Chattanooga.
Stacy Winslow Moore was born in Chambers County, Alabama on November 13, 1968, to the parentage of Mrs. Ethel Moore and the late Ronald Ware.
At an early age, Stacy professed his faith and joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in the Standing Rock community (Five Points). He attended Five Points High School and later graduated from Handley High School with the Class of 1987. Upon graduation, Stacy accepted employment with Amoco Fabrics and Fibers and Plantation Patterns, where he continued to work for several years. Then, later in 1997, he relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee. There, he accepted employment with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company and the Railroad Company where he continued to work until declining health demanded that he limit his physical activity.
Stacy was a personable young man, who will always be remembered for his smile and the enjoyment he received from uplifting his family and friends with laughter.
Stacy was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Ronald Ware. Stacy entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 22, 2019, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Ethel Tucker of Roanoke, Alabama; one son, Stacy Winslow Moore, Jr., of Chattanooga, TN; four sisters: Cassandra Swanson (Sherman) of Roanoke, Alabama, Nicea Green of Franklin, GA, Vicky Heard (Alvin) of Wedowee, AL, and Kimberly Ware of Roanoke, AL; two brothers: Roger Moore of Roanoke, AL and Ronald Ware (Nekides) of Atlanta, GA; stepmother, Carolyn Ware of Roanoke, AL; two special and devoted friends Latonya Howard Hixson, TN and Lamar Careathers of Chattanooga, TN; and two children he loved as his own: JaTavis Lowe and Takema Sexton of Hixon, TN; and finally but not least -- a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
