Richard Hughley

May 21, 1974 ~ January 3, 2021 (age 46)

It is with our deepest and heartfelt sympathy that we inform you of the passing from this life of Mr. Richard Hughley, 46, a resident of 508 Randolph Street, Roanoke, Alabama.  Mr. Hughley peacefully transitioned from this life on Sunday, January 2, 2020, at Tanner Medical Center, East Alabama in Wedowee.

Richard was born in Randolph County, Alabama on May 21, 1974, to the parentage of the late Mr. Bobby Mosley and the late Nancy Mae Hughley.

Richard attended Randolph County Schools.  He worked for a short time at Plantation Patterns; and also spent some time pulp-wooding for Charlie Boyd Logging.   At a young age, however, Richard became ill and was unable to continue pursuing employment because of his illness.  His hobbies were watching Si-Fi movies, and listening to "old school" music.

Richard was preceded in death by both his parents, Bobby Mosley and Nancy Mae Hughley; a sister Liz Mosley, and finally an uncle, Albert Aundra Grady. He transitioned from this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Tanner Medical Center, East Alabama in Wedowee.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hughley family which includes his fiance' Dana Jeter of Roanoke; Grandparents, Estella Hughley, and Ezra Hughley; two (2) daughters: Rachel Estella Hughley, and Kimberly Hughley; one (1) brother, Willie Lewis Hughley (Rochelle Leana Hughley) of Roanoke, Tony Mosley, and Al Mosley; three (3) sisters: Maleta Hughley and Tanya Hughley both of Roanoke; one (1) uncle: Larry Hughley; two (2) nieces: Quamesha Hughley and Shareeka Bell; six (6) nephews: Douglas Tucker, Damien Harris, John Bell, Vincent Bell, Jr., Shaquille Hughley, and Tattem; cousins: Alesha Hughley, LaToya Hughley, and Kesha Hughley; two (2) great-nieces, three (3) great-nephews; and a host of other kindred and friends.
