Pamela Lee Paige

It is with our deepest heartfelt sympathy that we inform you of the passing from this life of Ms. Pamela Lee Paige, 55, a resident of 225 South Street, Roanoke, Alabama.  Ms. Paige transitioned from this life on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA.

Ms. Pamela Lee Paige was born April 19, 1964 in Roanoke, Randolph County, AL to the parentage of the late William Henry Paige and Bonnie Sue Paige.  At an early age, she joined True Life Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.   After returning to Roanoke, she attended Canaan Baptist Church in the Welch Community with her late grandparents.  She held employment for 22 years at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers, later Mohawk Industries where she worked as a spinning frame operator.

Pamela was a fun-loving person to know. Among her favorite things to do, Pamela enjoyed baking and preparing great Sunday and holiday dinners for her family.  But she was especially fond of traveling.  She enjoyed taking cruises, and over the years, managed to enjoy eleven cruises.  Her travels took her to such exciting destinations as: The Grand Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos Islands, Grand Turk, Belize, Cozumel, Key West and Puerto Rico. 

Having enjoyed eleven cruises to awesome destinations, savored the cruise ship atmosphere she loved so much, and having experienced the love of her children, grandchildren and extended family, Pamela transitioned from this life on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Celebrating her life, mourning her departure, and cherishing many fond memories of her as a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and sister are, her son, Timothy Paige (Pamela) of Roanoke, AL; two (2) daughters, Niesha Paige of Roanoke, and Anissa Paige (Joel) of Auburn, AL; her mother, Mrs. Bonnie Sue Paige of Roanoke, AL; five (5) grandchildren: Amaiya Burnett, SaIya Paige,  Paris Paige, J'Qualin Paige, Kaylee Dukes; six (6) brothers: Phillip Paige, Roderick Paige (Sanchez), William Paige all of Atlanta, GA; Danny Paige, Michael Paige (LaDeedra) and Shekia Paige all of Roanoke, Alabama; three (3) sisters: Carol Paige (Thomas), Montessa Paige (Sherwood), both of Roanoke, AL; Vicki Paige of Atlanta, GA;  three (3) special nephews: Tradarius Houston of Roanoke AL; Khalil Darden and Jacquar Darden both of Atlanta, GA; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
