With deepest regret, we announce the passing of Ms. Shelia D. Sullivan, 63, a resident of 680 Seymour Drive, Roanoke, Alabama. Ms. Sullivan Transitioned from this life on Friday morning, October 20, 2017 at Roanoke Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Roanoke, Alabama.
Shelia Denise Sullivan was born in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama on June 26, 1954, to the parentage of the late John G. Johnson, and Sara Frances (Freeman) Strong. Although Shelia was the birth child of Sara Frances Freeman, she was raised by a woman named Doris J. Davis.
At some time, she left Randolph County, Alabama and migrated to Georgia, where she attended and graduated from Rutledge College. Shelia was very well-educated, and worked as a data entry clerk for municipal government.
Later in life, Shelia returned to Georgia, where she resided for a short time; however, she longed to return home to Alabama.
Ms. Sullivan Transitioned from this life on Friday morning, October 20, 2017 at Roanoke Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Roanoke, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish many loving memories, a foster daughter, Ms. Sabrina Grier of Newnan, Georgia; and a beloved half-sister, Earnestine Allen Frances of Milledgeville, Georgia.
