With deepest regret we announce the passing from this life of Ms. Jeanette V. Freeman, 78, a native of Manchester, Georgia, and long-time resident of Roanoke Health Care Center, 680 Seymour Drive, Roanoke, Alabama. Ms. Freeman formerly resided at 1330 County Road 103 in Roanoke.
Public visitation and viewing hours for Ms. Freeman will be observed on Monday, May 18, 2015 beginning at 12:00 NOON until 6:00 PM.
Graveside Services will be observed on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at New Harmony Baptist Church, 7419, County Road 158, LaFayette, Alabama 36862
The Eulogist will be Rev. Douglas Jones, Pastor of New Harmony Baptist Church with interment following immediately after.

Ms. Jeanette Freeman was born January 8, 1937 in Manchester, Talbot County, Georgia, to the late Vinnie Harrison and the late George Todd.
She was a long-time member of New Harmony Baptist Church, Lafayette, Alabama.
Throughout life, she worked as a housekeeper.
Ms. Freeman was a long-time companion of Mr. Charlie Lewis Ferrell, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2005.
In 2006, Jeanette took up residence at Roanoke Health Care Center, where she remained until her home-going. While at Roanoke Health Care, Ms. Freeman had the distinction of participating representing Roanoke Health Care Center in the Miss Alabama Nursing Home Pageant.
Ms. Freeman was preceded in death by a brother, B.C. Thomas, a native of Troup County, Georgia. She departed this life on Wednesday evening, May 13, 2015 at the Roanoke Health Care Center, in Roanoke, ALabama.
Ms. Jeanette Virginia Freeman is survived by 2 cousins, Barbara Watkins and Martha Johnson both of Roanoke, AL
