"Becky" as she was affectionately called, was the daughter of Mr. Ceroy Clyde Pate, and the late Mrs. Naomi Trammell Pate. She was born August 1, 1952 in Chambers County, Alabama.
Quietly and peacefully, she departed this earthly realm and entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2012 at her home in Roanoke, Alabama.
Rebecca was a member of the Class of 1970 -- the last graduating class -- of the Randolph County Training School.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Naomi Trammell Pate and her brother Mr. Ceroy Pate, Jr.
The many memories of her kindness and the love she showed for her family will be forever be remembered by: Her son, Mr. Kazuhira Hishida and her grandson, Master Natha Hishida of Nashville, Tennessee; her father, Mr. Ceroy Clyde Pate, Sr., of Roanoke, Alabama; her former spouse, Mr. Kazuhura Hishida of Nashville, Tennessee; siblings: Miss Johnnie Rachel of Inglewood, California, Mr. Herman Pate Winston (Sharon) of Anniston, Alabama, Mrs. Carolyn Powell (Willie) of LaGrange, Georgia, Mr. Ronald Pate (Kathy) of Roanoke, Alabama, Mrs. Mary Holmes (Glenn) of Houston, Texas, Mr. Travis Pate (Darnell) and Mrs. Mattie Brooks (Charles) of Roanoke, Alabama, Mrs. Merecia Milliner (Richard) of Weaver, Alabama, Mrs. Jessie Heflin (Levi) and Mrs.Virginia Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; her Aunts: Mrs. Juanita Longshore of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Mildred Griffin of San Bernadino, California; her very special friend, Mr. Alvin Broome of Roanoke, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
