Mrs. Luella (Bradshaw) Patterson, age 75, a resident of 750 Seymour Drive Apartment #7, Roanoke, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Roanoke Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Alabama.

Public Viewing and Visiting hours for Mrs. Patterson will be observed here at the funeral home, on Friday, between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 6:00 PM.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Luella Patterson will be observed on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 1:00 O'Clock PM from the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 3435 County Road 288, (Standing Rock Community) Five Points, Alabama 36855, Reverend William H. Trammell, Pastor; Reverend Melvin Cameron, officiating, and Reverend Jessie Bradshaw serving as Eulogist.

Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Standing Rock.

Sister Luella Patterson, daughter of Lillie Pearl Atkinson and Cleve Bradshaw, was born April 24, 1938, in Chambers County, Alabama.

She grew up and attended school in Chambers County, Alabama. She held employment as a domestic worker for more than thirty (30) years. She was married to the late Frank Patterson, with whom she parented three children.

Mrs. Patterson was a life-long member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Standing Rock Community, Five Points, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, siblings: Nell Bradshaw, Ann Woods, Posey Bradshaw, J.W. Baker, Joe Al Bradshaw, Louise Bradshaw, Charlie Bradshaw, and John T. Bradshaw; and husband, Frank Patterson. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Roanoke Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Alabama.

Precious memories of Luella, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend will linger in the hearts of those she leaves behind forever: her children: two (2) sons: Duncan Patterson (Cassandra) of Roanoke, Alabama and John Wayne Patterson (Sonya C.) of Birmingham, Alabama; one (1) daughter, Sandra Patterson of Roanoke, Alabama; seven (7) loving grandchildren: Diante’ Patterson, Dreion Patterson, Andre Patterson, and Kaylin Treadwell all of Roanoke, Alabama; David Acoff, Tiffany Acoff of Birmingham, Alabama, Johnondra Patterson of Ownings Mills, Maryland; seven (7) great grandchildren; two (2) sisters: Carrie Daniel of Welch, Alabama, and Beatrice Esters (Luther) of Atlanta, Georgia; seven (7) sisters-in-law: Frankie Baker, Willie Mae Bradshaw, Virginia Bradshaw, Gladys Bradshaw, Florence Dowell (Joe), Evelyn Kenneybrew, and Lona Lovelace (Donald); two (2) brothers-in-law: William Kenneybrew (Phyliss), Charlie Ways (Mary); two very special friends, Ron and Eleanor Laney; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, neighbors and friends..
