Lois enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with family. Lois was a full time homemaker before she spent time outside of the home in a host of jobs, including a lab technician and daycare teacher.
Lois leaves to cherish her memories, her faithful husband of 41 years, Mr. Maurice Sykes and one son Maurice Lindsley (Jenifer) of Rocklin, California.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earsley L. Autry and one sister, Patricia Ann Autry-McKnight. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Mrs. Cora L. Autry of Roanoke, AL; one brother, James Joseph (Belinda) Autry of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Earscell (Jerome) Tate of Opelika, AL; nephews, Earsley O'Bryant (Kiona) Autry of Fayetteville, NC; Earsley Xavier Autry-McKnight of Roanoke, AL, Ross McAdams Tate of Opelika, AL; neice, Courtnie B. Tate of Huntsville, AL; uncle, Robert L. (Mary) McAdams of Durham, NC; sister-in-law, Linda (Stony) Gillespie of Hoover, AL; brother-in-law, Robert (Mae) Sykes of Maywood, IL; special cousins, Doris E. Stokes of Cincinnati, OH; Ernest F.
