Mrs. Doris Hughley Burnette, age 49, a resident of 934 Heflin Avenue, Roanoke, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at her residence in Roanoke, Alabama.
Public Viewing and Visiting hours for Mrs. Burnette will be observed here at the funeral home, on Thursday, between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 6:00 PM.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Doris Burnette will be observed on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 1:00 O'Clock PM from the East Roanoke Pure Holiness Church of God, 311 Wright's Place, Roanoke, Alabama, Elder Timothy Wright Pastor, Bishop Tom Staples, Officiating.
Burial will follow in the Skyview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Welch, Alabama.

Doris Hughley was born in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama on August 11, 1964, to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Willie James and Eria Mae Hughley.
She grew up and attended school in Roanoke, Alabama. She was united in marriage with Mr. Charlie Burnette. She held employment as a cook, and worked for Hardee's in Roanoke for a number of years.
Mrs. Burnette was a life-long member of the East Roanoke Pure Holiness Church of God.
Doris was preceded in death by a son, Maricus Hughley. She departed this life on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at her residence in Roanoke.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie James and Eria Mae Hughley; her husband, Charlie Burnette; one (1) daughter, Cinnequa Watley; and four (4) beloved grandchildren all of Roaoke, Alabama; five (5) brothers: James Hughley, Charles Hughley, Jimmy Hughley and Malito Hughley all of Roanoke, and Allen Hughley of Valdosta, Georgia two (2) sisters: Cindy Dennis (Larry) of Fairburn, Georgia and Cotina Thompson of Roanoke, Alabama; a "Godson" LaKevin "JuJu" Appleby; and two very special friends, Andrell Burke and Willie Riggins both of Roanoke, Alabamam and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
