Mr. Willie Hugley Obituary

With deepest sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Willie Hugley, 73, formerly of 351 Mulberry Street, Roanoke, Alabama, currently residing at Roanoke Health Care Center.

Mr. Hugley transitioned from this life on Wednesday morning at Wedowee Hospital in Wedowee, Alabama.

Public viewing and visiting hours for Mr. Hugley will be observed here at the funeral home, on Monday, December 29, 2014, after 12:00 Noon.

Graveside services for Mr. Hugley will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Skyview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Five Points, Chambers County, Alabama, with Bishop Tom Staples, officiating, and burial to follow immediately after.

The Obituary

Willie James Hugley was born in Randolph County, Alabama on March 10, 1941 to the parentage of the late Jim and Mattie Ruth Hugley.

A life-long resident of Roanoke, Alabama, Willie James joined the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church in Roanoke.

During his lifetime, Willie James worked as a landscaper.

He was preceded in death by: two (2) brothers: Willie Thompson and Willie Lee Hugley; two (2) sisters: Hattie Hugley, and Louise Tatum; one (1) daughter, Doris Hugley; and one (1) grandchild, Marivous Hugley. Willie James transitioned from this life on Wednesday morning, December 24, 2014 at Wedowee Hospital, Wedowee, Alabama.

He is survived by: two (2) sons: James Lee Hugley of Roanoke, Alabama and Allen Hugley of Valdosta, Georgia; three (2) brothers: Willie Hugley, Jr., (Flora) of Wedowee, Alabama; Henry Hugley of LaGrange, Georgia, and Willie C. Hugley of Atlanta, Georgia; one (1) granddaughter Ginneva Whatley of Roanoke, Alabama; four (4) great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
