Mr. Jaylon Cook Obituary

With deepest regret, we announce the tragic passing from this life of Mr. Jaylon Quanterrious Branyy'on Cook, also known as "Toot" 18, a resident of 423 Chemical Street, Roanoke, Alabama 36274. Mr. Cook transitioned from this life early Monday morning, March 12, 2018, at the residence of his cousin on Strong Street in Roanoke, Alabama.

Mr. Cook will be available for viewing on Friday evening (March 16, 2018) from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm here at the funeral home, and again, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at the Christian Memorial Baptist Church, 1644 U.S. Highway 431 North, Roanoke, Alabama. Funeral Service will be observed at 1:00 pm Saturday March 17, 2018, with Reverend J. Burnett Jackson, Pastor, Minister Keith Nolan, Eulogist, and Reverend Calvin Trammell officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, LaFayette, Alabama.

In Loving Memory Of Jaylon Cook (aka) "Toot"

Jaylon was born on September 23, 1999 in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama to the parentage of Felicia Cook Nolan and Wayne Trammell.

He grew up in Roanoke, Alabama where he spent the majority of his young life. He attended Handley High School where he competed in Varsity Athletics, and was a True Handley man from day one. He was a big college football fan and had hoped to one day play collegiate football somewhere. He enjoyed fishing, attending sporting events, and traveling to Virginia to visit his aunt, and spending time with his family.

Jaylon was preceded in death by three brothers: Jonathan Cook, Mondale Trammell, and recently, Jaleel Cook, and his Grandmother, Melmer Trammell. During the early morning hours of March 12, 2018, Jaylon heard the Master's call and went home to be with his Loved Ones. He was in Roanoke, Alabama.

Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy and regret over this tragic passing is extended to the entire family -- Parents, siblings, and extended family.

Jaylon is survived by his mother, Mrs. Felicia Nolan (Anthony) of Columbus, Georgia; and father, Wayne Trammell of Roanoke, Alabama; three (3) brothers, Albrandoe's Trammell and Quandale Trammell both of Roanoke, Alabama, and Antraves Riley of Columbus, Georgia; grandmother, Gladys Cook of Carrollton, Georgia; and Grandfather, Adolphus Trammell of Roanoke, Alabama; great grandmother, Ella (Dunson) Hill of Roanoke, Alabama; great grandfather, Reverend Alford N. Hill of Welch, Alabama; God Grandparents, Napate and Johnny Ware of Roanoke, Alabama; special additional cousins: Kayla Paige of Tallassee, Alabama, MyKierston Trammell of Roanoke, Alabama, My'Kale Trammell of LaFayette, Alabama, and Travon Thompson of Roanoke, Alabama; and finally a large number of other cousins, and other loving relatives and friends that love him dearly.
