In Loving Memory Of Charles "Doc" Reeder, Jr.

Charles Reeder, Jr. was born in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, on July 17, 1967 to the parentage of the late Charles Reeder, Sr., a native North Carolinian, and the late Alice Jean (Johnson) Reeder an Alabama native.

At a young age, Charles was preceded in death by his mother, after which he moved south to Alabama to reside with his grandmother. While residing in this area, Charles accepted employment at Plantation Patterns, and Franklin Aluminum, where -- over a period of many years -- he labored as a welder and production worker. In later years, he returned to Dayton, where, on June 7, 2013, he married Miss Tamikio "Miki" Burrage.

Some years later, declining health forced Charles to conclude his employment endeavors. But, throughout his life, he remained an avid motor-cycle rider, and belonged to a motorcycle club called "Top Shelf Rides."

Charles transitioned from this life on Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.

We who remain to celebrate his life, mourn his passing, and cherish many treasured memories are: his wife, Tamikio Burrage Reeder of Trotwood, Ohio; three (3) sons: Cornelius Nolan of Franklin, Georgia, Charles Reeder, III (Erica) of Atmore, Alabama, and Untereaus Reeder of Mobile, Alabama; five (5) step-children: Marqueta Mills (Korey), Craig Moore, Roe'derrick Moore, Keith Wills and Torshea Wills, all residing in Dayton, Ohio; one (1) brother, Maxwell Reeder of Dayton, Ohio; four (4) sisters: Barbara Nolan (Walter) of Roanoke, Alabama, Tereon Reeder of Atlanta, Georgia, Cynthia Hooks (Stanley) of LaGrange, Georgia, and Catherine Brown (Christopher) of Dayton, Ohio; three (3) grandchildren: Orlando Bailey, Ja'Kerina Nolan, Al'Nyia Nolan, ten (10) step-grandchildren: Jazmine Hall, Brian Carswell, Brandon Carswell, Zy'air Mills, Kori Mills, Emilee Mills, Shayline Moore, Skylar Moore, London Moore and Derrick Moore; a special cousin, Stanford Brooks, and finally but not least, a special friend Leonard Baker; also a host of nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends.
