THE OBITUARY
At an early age, Mattie joined State Line Baptist Church. She married the late Willie James "WJ" Watkins, and their union was fruitful, giving rise to four sons. After her marriage, she fellowshipped with Mount Carrie Baptist Church, where her husband was a member.
