Mary Sue Collins

It is with deepest and heartfelt sympathy that we inform you of the passing from this life of Mrs. Mary Collins, 89, a former resident of 410 South Street, Roanoke, AL.  Mrs. Collins transitioned from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Traylor Retirement Community, 1235 Yancey Street, Roanoke, Randolph County, AL.

Mary Sue Collins was born in Chambers County, Alabama on September 5, 1930 to the parentage of the late Bob and Ora Lee (Trammell) Tucker.  Her family were life-long members of the United Methodist Church in both Chambers and Randolph, Alabama.  Eventually, Mary relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she resided for several years.  In recent years, she had returned to the Roanoke area to be with members of her family who remained in Alabama.   She had resided in Traylor Retirement Community since 2016.

Mary transitioned from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Retirement Community in Roanoke. 

Mrs. Collins' family remains in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.  Mrs. Collins is survived by daughters: Melinda Tucker and Ingrid Tucker and; sons: Eddie Tucker, Johnny Tucker and Eric Tucker.
