Our community is distraught and we are saddened by the tragic passing from this life, of Miss Latrice A. Tucker, 22, a native of Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama, and long-time resident of #70 Dunson Court, Roanoke, Alabama 36274.
Miss Tucker passed from this life on Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, following a fateful traffic accident in Buffalo, Chambers County, Alabama.
Public viewing and visiting hours for Miss Tucker will be observed on Thursday, March 19, 2015, after 12:00 noon.
The Funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon, March 20, 2015, at 1:00 PM from the Christian Memorial Baptist Church, 1644 Highway 431 South, Roanoke, Alabama 36274. Reverend Willie Clyde Houston will officiate with Reverend Jerone Fannin serving as Eulogist. Other ministers sharing the roster will include Reverend Douglas Jones, and Reverend William Phillips.
Burial will follow in the Rock Mills Baptist Church Cemetery, 126 County Road 2207, Roanoke, Alabama 36274.

The ObituaryLatrice Tucker was born in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama on October 31, 1992, to the parentage of Mr. Frederick Douglas Tucker, and Ms. Rochelle Ani McGuire.At an early age, Latrice was carried to church regularly by her grandmother, the late Joann (Tucker) Hopper, and as a child, joined the New Harmony Baptist Church, LaFayette, Alabama. She participated in many of the youth activities. Latrice attended Handley High School in Roanoke, Alabama; and Southern Union State Community College.
She was employed by Jac Products Divisions of Franklin Aluminum Company, in Franklin, Georgia where she was an Assembly Line Worker.
Latrice was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joann Hopper, and great grandmother, Maggie McGuire, an infant brother.
Life for Latrice ended very suddenly and tragically on Saturday morning, March 14, when a fateful accident abruptly claimed her life.
Latrice is survived by her mother and father, Frederick D. Tucker and Rochelle Ani McGuire; three (3) brothers: Douglas Tucker (Shaquetta), Christopher and Frederick Tucker; two (2) sisters: Tamera Tucker and Brittany Brooks; three (3) aunts, Bernice Hopper, Joygail Robinson, and Rachel Kelly; four (4) uncles: Melvin Robinson, Jr., Jerry Jerome Robinson, Johnathan Drake, and Anthony Hill (Stephanie); a nephew, Josiah Tucker; and a niece, Nyiashi Tucker; and Grandmother, Carolyn McGuire; all of Roanoke, Alabama; she is further survived by several great aunts, a large number of cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
