With overwhelming sadness, the Mays and Taylor families of the Birmingham/Jefferson County area, announce the passing from this life of our beloved mother and sister, Ms. Kajuana LaKisha Mays, 42, a native of Birmingham, and current resident of Lineville, Alabama. Ms. Mays transitioned from this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Tanner Medical Center, Carrollton, GA.
In Loving Memory Of Kajuana LaKisha Mays
Kajuana LaKisha Mays was born on January 8, 1981, to the late Ms. Priscilla Ann Seymore Mays and the late Mr. Willie Floyd both of Birmingham, Jefferson County, AL. "Kisha" was the baby of the bunch. She attended Wenonah High School and later received her Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She had a passion for the medical field whether working with kids or adults.
Kajuana was preceded in death by her brother Steven Derrick Mays. She transitioned from this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Carroll County, Ga.
She leaves to cherish her memory, four children: Rashard Lamont Taylor Jr., Chakhyla Nykeunta Taylor, D’Ashai Zykia Taylor, Keshun Jamal Taylor, her only grandson, Keshun Jamal Taylor Jr.; a sister, Tamara Swane McGuire (Darrell), a nephew, Jahlen Zekorey Mays, a niece, Zykhila Nychiante Reliford and a host of other relatives and friends.
