Mr. James Calvin Morgan, age 53, also known as "Slick-Face" a resident of 1331 Satterwhite Street in Roanoke, Alabama, passed away on Saturday morning, November 12, 2011 at his residence in Roanoke.
Mr. Morgan's Remains was transferred.
The Obituary
James Calvin Morgan was born November 5, 1958, in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama to the parentage of the late J.C. and Susie Mae Morgan.
He devoted his life to working hard in order to feed and shelter himself. He worked for six years at Miliken Mills in LaGrange, Georgia, and later worked Roanoke Stockyards, where he dedicated himself until his passing.
The family would like to thank William "Hot Dog" and Peggy Clark for all of their care and love shown to James Calvin Morgan. The family appreciate all that your family has done for him.
Mr. Morgan departed this life on Saturday morning, November 12, 2011 at his residence on Satterwhite Street, in Roanoke, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish many loving memories: two (2) children: a son, Brandon Calvin Gates, and a daughter, LaShantris Gates; six (6) brothers: Ronnie S. Morgan (Barbara), Larance Henry Watts, Eddie Walter Morgan, David LaMar Morgan, and J.C. Tatum Morgan, all of Roanoke, Alabama; and five (5) sisters: Mrs. Napate Ware (Johnny), Ms. Gloria Dean Pinkard, Mrs. Susie Ann Burks (Ronnie) of LaGrange, Georgia, Ms. Pamela Morgan, and Ms. Kathleen Debra Morgan; three grandchildren: one granddaughter, Key'ivysha Gates and two (2) grandsons, Dra'Derrickius Tucker and Ken'Dreikus Williams; and many other loving relatives and friends.
