It is with our deepest regret that we inform you of the passing from this life of Ms. Gayle Darnell Heath, 73, a native and life-long resident of Roanoke, Alabama residing at 159 County Road 79 Apartment 404. Ms. Heath transitioned from this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika, Alabama.
Ms. Gayle Darnell Heath was born November 4, 1947 to the parentage of the late Sara Ann (Baker) Heath and Jessie Roe Heath in Roanoke, Alabama. She was a life-long member of the Saint Paul Baptist Church in Roanoke. Gayle grew up in Roanoke and attended Randolph County Training School (R.C.T.S.) in Roanoke, Alabama. She obtained her GED from Opelika Training Center. For a short time afterward, she worked in the local textile industry at Handley Textile Mills.
Gayle was preceded in death by both parents Jessie Ro and Sara Ann (Baker) Heath, and a daughter (RIH) Jackie Heflin. Gayle transitioned from this life on Thursday, April 29,
2021 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Heath family which includes her son, Winford Heath (LaDonna) of LaGrange, Georgia; daughters: Twinkle Heflin (Rodney) and Mendy Rhodes (Ronnie) both of Roanoke, Alabama; a sister, Evelyn Emory (Beotis); seventeen (17) grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
