Elleanor Sterling, a life-long resident of Clay County, Alabama, passed away from this life Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Ms. Sterling was born February 6, 1938 to the parentage of the late Roosevelt Sterling and the late Ethel Wilson Sterling. While being reared in her family's home, she learned many valuable lessons that shaped her into the woman she would become.
Elleanor graduated from the Clay County Training School in Lineville, AL, after which she worked as a seamstress for many years. She was employed with Ace Product Manufacturing tires for the company for more than thirteen years. Elleanor was known for her cooking skills by family and friends; she made delicious friend apple pies that were made with love.
Ms. Sterling was a woman of deep faith in the Lord Jesus and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lineville, Alabama.
