Mr. Bobby Battle, age 74, a native of Wadley, Alabama, and long-time resident of 2820 Robert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Christ Hospital, 2139 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Public viewing and visitation hours for Mr. Battle will be observed on Friday, December 21 2012 between the hours of 12:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Mr. Battle will lie in State at the church one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral Services for Mr. Battle will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 O'Clock PM at the County Line Baptist Church, 316 County Road 834, Wadley, Alabama 36276. The Reverend Sanders Higgins is the Pastor; Reverend William H. Trammell will serve as officiant.
Burial will follow in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery, 316 County Road 834, Wadley, Alabama 36274, immediately after the service.
Larry Hardnett, Rodney McLain, Gregory Daniels, Andre Wheeler, Dwayne McLain, and Robert Weaver will serve as Pallbearers

The Obituary
Bobby Battle was born May 17, 1938 to the parentage of the late Leroy and Zula Battle in Randolph County, Alabama. He joined County Line Baptist Church at an early age.
Bobby attended the Randolph County Training School (RCTS). Afterward, he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where he married Kernnie Battle and worked in the Construction industry for many years until his retirement from Albanese Construction Company.
Together, they had six children, four sons, and two daughters. He was preceded in death by his wife Kernnie Battle, and one son Adrian Battle.
Bobby enjoyed barbequing for his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching westerns.
Bobby departed this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati at the age of 74.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his children: Rosalie (Greg), Barry (Tracey), and Phyllis (Brian) all of Cincinnati, Ohio; Noel (Bettsye) of Hiram, Georgia, and Kerry (Kay) of Phoenix, Arizona; two (2) brothers: James Frank of Wadley, Alabama, and Joseph Battle of Dayton, Ohio; five (5) grandchildren, four (4) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
