Barbara Jean (Bailey) Sims

It is with deep regret that the Sims and Okushi families of Marietta, GA, announce the passing from this life of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Jean Sims, age 75, a native and lifelong resident of 1269 County Road 59, Wedowee.  Mrs. Sims transitioned from this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Northstar Place (Senior Living & Memory Care), Kennesaw, GA.  

Our sincere prayers and sympathy are extended to her daughters: Kim Okushi and Michelle Sims; grandson, Micah Okushi; granddaughters: Genesis Okushi & Isabel Okushi; along with siblings: Maeola Houston of Wedowee, Ruby Irene Marable and George Wilson Bailey of East Point, GA; and special friends: Annie Lois Marsh of Wedowee, Alabama and Betty Jean Lowe of Wadley, Alabama.
