Anthony J. Traylor

It is with our deepest and heartfelt sympathy we inform you of the passing from this life of Mr. Anthony J. Traylor, 53, a resident of 402 South Street, Roanoke, Alabama.  Mr. Traylor transitioned from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in Lagrange, Troup County, GA.

Anthony was born on April 1, 1967, in Randolph County to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lee Traylor and Lucille (Johnson) Traylor.  At an early age, he joined First Baptist Church in Roanoke, where he remained a member until his homegoing.  Educated locally, Anthony was a graduate of the Handley High School Class of 1985.  Anthony remained in the community throughout his 53 years, taking as many jobs as he could work, as a handyman.   

Anthony was preceded in death by three (3) brothers:  Randy, Ronnie, and Tracey Traylor -- all known throughout our community.  He transitioned from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.

Our sincere prayers are extended to his sister, Mrs. Barbara Brooks of Roanoke, Alabama; nephews: Stacey Brooks (Michelle) of Roanoke, AL, and Stanford Brooks (Pamela) of Douglasville, GA;  along with his many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
