Ms. Freda Bell Obituary

Ms. Freda E.Bell was born June 21, 1975 to the parentage of Reverend and Mrs. Claude and Ida (Cameron) Bell in Randolph County, Alabama. Freda was one of four siblings born to this parentage. She grew up in Roanoke, and attended Wadley High School, where she graduated in 1993. She continued to pursue her education, later earning the Associate In Science Degree from Southern Union State Community College in Wadley. She later enrolled in the University Of Phoenix, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree In Human Services. Without question, this degree enabled her to grow in her understanding of the human condition, as she concerned herself with finding remedies, solving problems, and improving the quality of life for people in need. To this end, she developed a fondness for fundraising for the Kidney Foundation and Lupus Foundation. And with the passage of time, Freda evolved into a dedicated humanitarian and activist.

A life-long member of Wehadkee Baptist Church, Freda had a zeal for working and serving in the church. She was a true blessing to Wehadkee, rendering service by printing programs for the church, and by singing in the choir. She also formerly served as choir director. Freda gave of herself with a smile, and Wehadkee will miss her service.

As a young woman determined to develop herself professionally, Freda worked for Randolph County Schools as a substitute teacher, and she was also comfortable and skillful in the business arena serving as a customer service representative.

As destiny would have it, Freda was challenged and tried by illness. But, she remained a spirited human being, who spread light and love everywhere she went. If you ever encountered her, you knew it because you could feel it. After her courageous stand against illness, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, God saw fit to summon her from this earthly battlefield and bring her into his light -- peace -- and rest. She was at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama, when she surrendered to God's call and passed from this life to eternity.

Though WE WILL ALL miss her, those who will miss her most include her devoted parents, Reverend and Mrs. Claude and Ida Bell of Roanoke, AL; her two (2) sisters: Mimi Ware (Robert) of Palmetto, GA and Kimpley Caldwell (Harvey) of Franklin, GA; one (1) brother, Chris Bell (Carla) of Montgomery, AL; her four (4) neices and nephews: Tamara Ware and Robert Andrew Ware of Palmetto, GA and Kelexsa Bell and Korian Willis of Franklin, GA; her special aunt, Rose Cameron of Roanoke, AL; four (4) uncles: Bobby Bell (Vicky) of Decatur, GA, Gordon Cameron (Barbara) of Dothan, AL, Charles Cameron and Mose Cameron (Tammy) of Roanoke, AL; seven (7) aunts: Nancy Snipes of Durham, NC, Alice Thornton (Charlie) Of Austell, GA, Nanette Phillips (Kenny) of Clacksville, AL; Linda Faye Bell and Patricia Brown (Larry) both of Roanoke, AL, Sandra Williams (Perry) of Columbus, GA, Lennie Heard (Bernard) of Wadley, AL; moreover she leaves a host of beloved cousins, neighbors, friends and church family who will deeply miss having her in our lives.
