About
Charlotte A. Clark-Frieson hails from a rural community in east-central Alabama, and has practiced and advocated for funeral service since age 14… In a predominantly male-dominated profession, she held her own for more than 43 years…
She got her start in funeral service when her father, the late Wilkie Clark realized his life-long dream to own his own funeral home. When Charlotte was around 14, her father and mother succeeded in securing a Small Business Administration direct loan to set up this business. Embracing her dad’s vision, from that day until the present, she made the commitment to stick with her father through the thick and thin of an entrepreneurial journey that has spanned nearly five decades and three generations of funeral service practitioners from the late 1960’s to the present.
Over that period of time, she has become a true expert in all matters related to the end of life.
Presently, she is the oldest funeral service practitioner in her immediate community, and believes she brings a unique perspective of funeral service to this industry.
